Who run the world? Women.
And Australian mining billionaire Gina Rinehart is one of them.
Forbes has announced its annual list of the world’s Most Powerful Women – and the list is impressive.
Topping the list is German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has featured on the list 12 other times.
Gina Rinehart carried the torch for Australia as the only Aussie to make the list at #37. (She ranked higher than the Queen.)
Angelina Jolie, Shakira, Beyonce and Sofia Vergara also received a nod, but none ranked as highly as Oprah Winfrey at #12.
But if you need a few role models that you don’t see in the news every day, browse the incredible number of CEOs, leaders and tech geniuses who are running the world.
